01 WHO DIS?
Hi, I'm Dan Clark. For nearly a decade, I helped shape Fortnite's visual identity, launch products, build creative teams, and develop scalable design systems for one of the world's most recognizable entertainment brands.
Today, I'm focused on creating, consulting, and helping ambitious teams bring ideas to life.
02 THE WORK
Consumer Products, Licensing & Retail
I led the creative vision for Fortnite's Consumer Products & Licensing business, shaping the strategy and creative direction for physical products across apparel, collectibles, toys, packaging, and retail partnerships with brands including Nintendo, CASETiFY, Lego, Nerf, and many more.
I created Loot Drop, a living quarterly creative framework that unified product strategy, storytelling, and visual direction across Fortnite's Consumer Products & Licensing business. Each edition introduced refreshed artwork, evolving creative themes, and new merchandising opportunities while providing partners with a scalable system for bringing products from concept through retail.
Collaborations
From Nike and Marvel to Star Wars and Dragon Ball, Fortnite became a place where some of the world's biggest brands could meet new audiences. My role was helping each partnership feel authentic to both brands while creating a cohesive experience for players.
Fortnite Product Launches
Mega and OG Fortnite are two examples from dozens of launches I helped shape during my time at Epic. From logos and key art to trailers, social campaigns, out-of-home advertising, and viral activations, my role was helping every piece feel connected and unmistakably Fortnite.
Vision Setting
Exploratory concepts developed to refresh and evolve Fortnite's marketing ecosystem. These ideas helped align teams around new creative directions while breathing new life into long-running brand systems.
